Tesla Superchargers in Malaysia – 10 locations so far
Besides activating the Tesla Malaysia national page and Tesla Model Y configuration in Malaysia this morning, Tesla also updated the Find Us section of their website with the location of the first batch of Turbochargers. There are 10 locations listed so far as future locations with no confirmed opening date.
The locations are:
In the Klang . Valley
- Dengkil, Selangor
- Petaling Jaya, Selangor
- Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur
- Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur
- Two locations in Kuala Lumpur
South Klang . valley
- Negeri Sembilan
- Iskandar Puteri, Johor
North of Klang . valley
- Ipoh, Perak
- Perai, Pulau Pinang

The Tesla supercharger in the form of V3/V4 can produce up to 250 kW of power. Older models offer less, up to 150 kW. But regardless of the charger’s hardware capabilities, it is still limited by the incoming power, which will be the ultimate limiting factor.
It was previously reported that Johor MB Onn Hafiz Ghazi met with Tesla’s Regional Director, Isabel Fan and expressed interest in the state’s hosting of the Tesla Supercharger network, so perhaps we can look forward to it. waiting for more places in Johor other than Iskandar Puteri.
As part of MITI .’s BEV Global Leadership Program To allow Tesla to sell cars directly in Malaysia, at least 50 DC fast chargers with a minimum charging capacity of 180 kW must be installed, and at least 30% (15 sets) of these chargers must be open for public for use, allowing the use of electric vehicles from other brands.
