Tesla Model S Plaid Race Modified Yamaha Banshee With Unpredictable Results
One of these machines is probably the fastest factory-made four-door vehicle on the planet. The other that looks like a hastily welded together DIY project is powered by a Yamaha Banshee quad two-stroke engine. While we’re sure it’s really a well-thought-out and well-designed project, even the person who runs it calls it “sketchy”. Let’s see what happens when we put them in a race.

Alright, are you done? Good. That’s incredibly close! These two four-wheelers couldn’t be more different. The Tesla Model WILL Plaid powered by the battery and no exhaust emissions. With the look of white exhaust pipes flowing out behind its extension tubes, the Banshee appears to burn fuel and oil at roughly equivalent measures as it ignites dead dinosaurs and plunges down the drag strip. . That wheel bar certainly gives Banshee’s rider a good start, but Tesla’s Outstanding aerodynamics and much longer gearshifts allow it to roll pedestrians towards the end.
So there is only one question left unanswered. Do you ride… that thing? Yes. We will also try.
