Tesla hangs free Supercharge to boost EOFY sales

Tesla is encouraging the purchase of several vehicles in stock ready for immediate delivery as we near the end of the financial year.

Australian customers order and receive new goods 3 . Model Performance or Performance Model Y in Tesla warehouses between June 15 and June 30 are eligible for three free months of Supercharged.

The Tesla Model 3 Performance is currently priced at $89,100 before hitting the road and the Model Y Performance is priced at $97,100 before it goes on sale.

It’s worth noting that exterior and interior paint color choices are limited to Tesla’s inventory of vehicles.

This free three-month turbocharger offer only applies to in stock Model 3 Performance and Model Y Performance variants, not entry-level RWD and dual-engine Long Range models.

Tesla says the three-month free turbocharger for Model 3 Performance and Model Y Performance vehicles in stock cannot be retroactively applied to existing orders, nor can it be transferred to another account or vehicle.

It’s not clear how many Model 3 Performance and Model Y Performance examples Tesla has in its local inventory ready to ship before the end of the month.

EQUAL previous report, Tesla is working on an update to the Model 3 known internally as Project Highland. An update to the closely related Model Y SUV, codenamed Project Juniper, is expected to follow shortly.

At this stage, it remains unclear when the updated Model 3 will enter production. Although Tesla boss Elon Musk was recently in China, the updated mid-size sedan has yet to be revealed.

A recent photo shared on reddit shows that the Model 3 will get a new headlight design, as well as a new front bumper and what appears to be – finally – a instrument cluster.

Not a Tesla app reports that the Model 3 will have a single camera in the center of the front bumper plus two new cameras, one on each side of the vehicle.

This is said to be a 5-megapixel camera with anti-glare coating, which is superior to current 1.2-megapixel car cameras. The updated model will also be upgraded from a Hardware 3 to a Hardware 4 supercomputer.

There won’t be any ultrasonic sensors as the company pushes ahead with the Tesla Vision system, which doesn’t rely on radar or sensors but instead a camera, while Tesla will also simplify the Model 3’s interior even further. .

Tesla has previously said it won’t go the traditional ‘upgrade’ route like traditional carmakers, but it looks like it’s changing its tune to help keep its vehicles fresh.
