Since first going into production late last year, Tesla e-truck has had a rough road – especially in comparison Ford F-150 Lightning, one of its main competitors. Last month We reported that the Cybertruck was losing money in terms of salesand now it is losing heavily in races.
Both of these trucks are advertised as Walker (somewhat), so instead of going to a regular track, a few owners decided to race their trucks at the Moses Lake Mudflats in Washington on the sand. Pretty neat. Luckily for us, it was all captured on video and posted to Facebook. The result is Not nice for the Cybertruck.
Both appeared to struggle for traction, but the four-wheel drive system quickly kicked in and the truck took off. They are almost normal for a few seconds and then lightning rocket out Electronic truck – cross the finish line before Electronic truck performed in this rather unscientific race. It’s really not even close.
To be fair to Electronic truck, we don’t know what truck models these are if the drivers are good at drag racing and sand driving or even how long the race lasts. However, no matter how you slice it, there is a very clear winner. On paper, Electronic truck should be faster lightning. I mean, Tesla says they will do 0-60 in 2.6 seconds and is the fastest Lighting can only manage it in 3.8 seconds. I have to think the big difference here, though, is the Lightning’s four-wheel-drive system, which is almost certainly better at handling loose surfaces than four-wheel-drive systems. of Cybertruck.
We can’t say for sure that Lightning will defeat Electronic truck every time, but one thing is certain: if the outcome had gone the other way E-truck fanatics will tout it as the greatest race in the world.
