Tesla Cybertruck completely sold out for 2024 – new orders for EV pickup to be delivered in 2025
The Tesla Cybertruck is sold out for 2024 just months after the brand’s first electric pickup debuted on December 1 last year, which is when deliveries began.
During that time disclosure, Tesla announced that the Cybertruck will come in three variants, starting with the base Rear-Wheel Drive version priced at USD60,990 (about RM290k). This variant is not available at launch and buyers will have to wait until 2025 to get their hands on one.
The remaining two variants, All-Wheel Drive and Cyberbeast, are priced at USD 79,990 (RM380,000) and USD 99,990 (RM475,000) respectively. These variants were initially listed as having deliveries in 2024, but this has since been changed to 2025 on Tesla’s official US website.
As a result, new buyers who ordered the Cybertruck will have to wait until 2025 to receive the vehicle because the company has sold out its pickup truck production capacity for the entire year of 2024. Reports suggest that Tesla has received as much . like two million reservations for the Cybertruck before it officially goes on saleSo it’s not surprising that the waiting list is so long.
This does not affect us as the Cybertruck will not be sold in Malaysia in the near future. The monolith of a pickup truck was showcased here as part of a recent official media preview and will be unveiled to the public at Tesla’s showrooms in Cyberjaya and Pavilion Damansara Heights on May.
