Terraria 1.4 transition update arrives, missing some multiplayer options

Nintendo Switch is more up to date when it comes to Terraria, like the End of Journey 1.4 . update here. However, it won’t be exactly what people expect. The announcement includes confirming things that are identical to other platforms ‘1.4. It also offers Switch-specific additions and losses. Specifically, the Switch update will include some Terraria multiplayer elements like cross-play, local multiplayer, and split-screen insights. It first appeared on PC in May 2020.

In the case of Terraria Switching multiplayer details, pretty much of it related to what’s possible after additional patches. For example, only split screen for two players at the moment. You can only join that offline. However, it may appear as an option later. There is also only online split-screen multiplayer or same console, as local multiplayer is not yet available. Crossplay is not an option for the Switch version of Terraria, but that could change “when all active platforms are content par.”

However, the Switch version of Terraria 1.4 also offers unique updates. The touch controls and gamepad are fine-tuned. There will also be an updated user interface. When someone plays split screen on the same console, you’ll also be able to choose between split horizontally or vertically.

Here’s a trailer for the update. It adds a Journey mode, over 1,000 items, new enemies, new music, and new difficulty options.
