Well, at least, that’s what the star of the show is Grace Van Patten and Jackson White—You play Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco, respectively, in the exciting new TV series — exclusively for E! News ahead of the September 7 premiere. As Grace and Jackson detailed, Hulu will take over Tell Me Lies does not follow its source material, but expands the story to focus on more support players, due to Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Alicia Crowder, Benjamin Wadsworth and Catherine Missal.
“The show really goes into each character,” Grace explained to E! News,” and each character has a unique journey and inner turmoil they must go through. You really know Lucy and Stephen in the book, but the show really dives into each character and making it look like a population.”
Grace promises that the reel will draw viewers “very invested in each of the characters and their friendship.”
