Following Suzuki Motor USA’s recent announcement of the first bikes of the 2024 lineup, the company has announced it will release the Suzuki Hayabusa 2024 25th Anniversary Model.

Since its introduction, the Hayabusa sports car has sold nearly 300,000 units worldwide. Suzuki says that the bikes “unique appeal to many motoring enthusiasts continue to set them apart.”

The 25th anniversary model will come in a new colorway that recalls the fan favorite from the second generation of the bike and includes a host of features unique to this model.
Suzuki Hayabusa 25th anniversary model 2024
Named after the Japanese term for peregrine falcon, which Suzuki says also inspired the car’s “breathable body”, the Suzuki Hayabusa 2024 returns with a four-cylinder, in-line engine. 1340cc liquid-cooled with DOHC and four valves per cylinder. When we tested the Hayabusa 2022 on the road, it produced 173 hp at 9,800 rpm and 106 lb-ft of torque at 6,900 rpm on the Jett Tuning’s rear-wheel drive engine.
Our reviewer wrote: “While the Hayabusa’s ergonomics aren’t ideal for long days in the saddle, its creamy-smooth motor transmits very little vibration to the rider and the muffler looks like Its huge box keeps the hum from coming out murky. “When pressing on the throttle, the four-piece strip plays a lively tune, but otherwise the Suzuki sounds relaxed and less tense.”

Suzuki Hayabusa 2024 also has a 6-speed gearbox combined with a SCAS-style clutch system, Suzuki Ram Air Direct intake to induce pressurized air, Suzuki Intelligent Ride System with electronic driver assistance , which includes cruise control and a three-mode two-way quick-shifter, three preset and three customizable ride modes, among a host of other features. The bike has adjustable KYB suspension, Brembo Stylema 4-piston calipers with dual 320mm discs up front, and Nissin 1-piston calipers and 260mm discs at the rear. ABS is standard.
Unique to the 25th Anniversary Model in terms of badges and branding are the 25th anniversary emblem and the Suzuki logo embossed on the fuel tank, the 25th anniversary logo engraved on each muffler and the kanji Hayabusa logo embossed applies to transmission chain plates. The vehicle also features gloss black hood trim, gold-plated brake rotor holders and drive chain adjusters, as well as a single-seat hood.
Hayabusa The 25th Anniversary model features a color combination of Blaze Orange and Glass Sparkle Black reminiscent of one of the Gen II model’s most popular color palettes, also accented by a letter-shaped red graphic V special.
The 25th Anniversary Hayabusa will arrive in dealerships later in the summer. Pricing has yet to be announced.
