The new model for Malaysia in the midsize naked sports car class is the Suzuki GSX-8S 2023, priced at RM50,800, excluding road tax, insurance and registration. In Malaysia, Suzuki GSX-8S confronts Kawasaki Z650, Yamaha MT-07 And Aprilia Tuono 660 on price and engine configuration.
The engine for the GSX-8S comes from a 270-degree parallel twin, 776 cc, DOHC and liquid-cooled twin engine, provided by EFI. Suzuki claims the GSX-8S’s output is 82 hp at 8,500 rpm and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 rpm.
A six-speed transmission with ultimate chain drive sends power to the rear wheels and front and rear wheel sizes are 17 inches.
