‘Superfly’ actor Kaalan Walker sentenced to 50 years in prison for sexual assault
According to NBC News, Kaalan Walker, the actor who appeared in 2018’s ‘SuperFly’ has been sentenced to 50 years in prison for life for sexual assault.
Judge Joseph Brandolino also ordered Walker to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.
As previously reported, three of Walker’s victims were 16-year-old aspiring models. Walker sexually assaulted a seventh woman in what prosecutors called “sophisticated” attacks from 2013 to late 2018. A grand jury convicted him in April. 2022 for his crimes.
The actor put his head down and began to sob as the court read the split verdict.
Walker has maintained his chastity. In court, declared:
“I didn’t rape anyone, your honor. I didn’t rape anyone,” while being handcuffed after the jury left.
Reports suggest Walker was acquitted of charges involving three of the ten victims in the case, including two of rape.
