Mastery Retirement is pleased to announce the election of Stephanie Brennan to its Board of Directors. The TRF Board of Directors provides leadership to carry out the Foundation’s mission to provide sanctuary to retired racehorses that are no longer competitive on the racetrack and to save them from abandonment, abuse and slaughter may occur.
Patrick Mackay, president and chairman of the Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation, said: “Once again TRF has had the success of adding Stephanie to its Board of Directors. “We welcome and enthusiastically look forward to her sharing her firsthand knowledge and expertise in Purebred dog care to help make our flock even better.”
Stephanie Brennan hails from Ocala and is the director of sales and marketing for Niall Brennan Stables and in 2009 founded Final Furlong, a retirement initiative for Niall Brennan Stables graduates only and informed through that organization attracted nearly 200 Purebreds.
Brennan said: “I am delighted to be a part of TRF. “As a strong supporter of aftercare, I am particularly interested in the link between TRF and the correctional system. It creates a world of opportunity for both horses and prisoners with hope for life. a better future.”
