Money talks in Mercenaries of Fortune, the fourth season of Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone, bringing with it a bunch of new content, including new maps, new weapons, new Operators, 100+ content Tiers of Battle Pass, and more.

Warzone adds Fortune’s Keep map, Caldera update, Vehicles
Fortune’s Keep
A mercenary hideout built atop another peaceful town with a rich history, Fortune’s Keep is a completely original Resurgence map created by High Moon Studios. It is roughly the same size as Rebirth Island and has four distinct points of interest:
Town
Inspired by colorful Mediterranean villages, this beachfront community is dotted with cobblestone alleys and flat rooftops to traverse. An old fortress sits in the center of town, inviting the Operator to engage in fierce battle with the bell tower commanding this part of the map.
Smuggler’s Cove
As the name implies, Smuggler’s Cove is filled with supplies, including a Gas Mask that can be useful in the event the circle collapses. Be prepared to explore zigzag Sea Caves, Sunlit Caves from above, a small collection of fishing huts and a lighthouse.
Keep for
The island’s name, the Keep is a medieval fortress converted into a mercenary headquarters and hideout. Walk over ramparts and reach watchtowers to protect the area from invaders, but know that they can also easily fly over walls using nearby Redeploy Balloons or sneaking into the area by the tunnel system on the island.
winery
A laid-back complex inspired by the traditional three-lane map, Winery offers plenty of scavenging opportunities. Head to the Wine Cellar to stock up on supplies or head to the nearby Camp, which has a helipad and many military tents.
Fortune’s Keep also brings new challenges. Accept Black Market Run Contracts for a chance to purchase items not available at regular Purchase Stations like the Sequencer Grenades and the Nebula V Minigun. In Cash Extraction, ambush a group of mercenaries and get their gold before they take it off the island.
New Caldera POI – Store Town
Originally in Verdansk, the Archive Town reached Caldera and was located between the Mines, the Airport, the Village and the Digging Site. Search the vast complex for Contracts and items and use its new-found vertical to quickly traverse the map.
Expect more than a dozen other Points of Interest changes across Caldera, due in part to the newly cropped mercenary camps. Maybe they’re looking for the rumored Mercenary Vaults?
Armored SUV (In Season)
Jump into the new armored SUV when you need to traverse enemy-occupied territory. The vehicle features a driver-mounted weapon, a dedicated extra seat on the turret, the ability to drop mines close, and a Nitro Boost for quick acceleration.
ATM
Hit ATMs in Loot mode to get nearby periodically spawned bags of gold. Gold will spawn with the maximum amount.
EMP . Grenade
Disabling vehicles and disrupting player and enemy AI with the EMP Grenade, a non-damage tool that creates a short-lived area of effect when it explodes. Affected players will have their HUD information stripped, while the vehicle is powered off momentarily.
New map, Blueprint Gun game in multiplayer
USS Texas 1945 (Debut)
Reimagining the USS Texas map from Call of Duty: WWII, USS Texas 1945 is a medium-sized map that was moved from the white Dover Cliffs to the waters around Caldera. Battle it out aboard a battleship designed for intense long-range engagements on starboard and port, and get plenty of melee action between multiple locations within its confines.
Desolation (In Season)
Deploy to a Pacific listening station in this small to medium sized map, set in a densely devastated village. Massive mountains and vast landscapes engulf the environment as you battle around the central building and along its creek fortifications.
New game mode – Blueprint Gun Game
Gun Game launches Vanguard this season in a new variant that utilizes different Weapon Blueprints. Be the first driver through all 18 weapons to win the match. Eliminate enemies to move on to the next weapon. Melee enemies to reclaim one of their weapons and eliminate the ultimate Knife Throw to ensure victory. Custom Perks, Killstreaks or Loadouts are not allowed.
Mercenaries of Fortune also brings a new season of Ranked play. Climb the ladder as you battle other opponents and earn new seasonal rewards for your efforts.
Shi No Numa Brings Back Classic Ring Based Zombies
After its initial release in Call of Duty: World at War, the Zombies Shi No Numa map returns in the first classic round-based experience for Vanguard. Team up and survive the swamps in this updated version, featuring new quests, Magic Weapons, new info and more. Experience the map through unique Vanguard features like the Altar of the Covenant and the Ritual Complex.
New Battle Pass, New Weapon
The Mercenaries of Fortune Battle Pass offers 100 levels of new content, including two new free weapons: the Marco 5 SMG and the UGM-8 LMG.
Marco 5
This is the perfect SMG for aggressive, on-the-go players. Best when shot at close range from the hip, this is also the first SMG in Vanguard to feature the Akimbo Mastery. Now we are actually talking.
UGM-8
The UGM-8 combines mobility with firepower for Operators to keep up with their teammates while providing suppressive fire. Use Gunsmith to tilt more weapons towards power or speed and find a balance that works for you.
Purchase the Mercenaries of Fortune Battle Pass to instantly receive Immortal Operators Captain Butcher at Level 0. Appearing later in the Shop are two other Immortal Operators, Callum Hendry and Ikenna Olowe.
Earn two more weapons – the Push Dagger and the Vargo-S Assault Rifle – by completing the in-game challenges or by purchasing the respective Store Packs at the end of the season.
