One player Holliman is completely behind is Im, who he believes outclasses most players in the field. The expert pointed out that the Korean player has 2 wins at 24, including the 2020 Honda Classic. I finished in the top six in consecutive tournaments before his T-56 at Genesis, and he will be back after weekend 74-73 in the Riviera. Im is 14th in total strokes and 24th in average. His biggest weakness is his shorter approach shots and he won’t have to do too many of them despite his relatively short composition.
On the other hand, Holliman is staying away from Lowry, even though he is also one of the stars of the field. The Irishman has struggled on the green so far and lacks consistency. He is hitting 67% of the greens under regulation (149th). The 35-year-old was runner-up behind Sepp Straka last year, but it was his first time finishing in the top 20 at the Honda Classic after five tries. Lowry’s T-14 at the Riviera last week was his best this season, and he missed out on qualifying last week in Phoenix. Lowry will need to hit his hit (186th in strokes) to have any chance this week.
