SsangYong Australia says the local rollout of updated Musso has not been finalized yet, but is estimated to release in fourth quarter of 2023.

The company has also not confirmed whether it will follow the Korean market in applying the Culmen suffix to Musso. This new name has been attached to the existing Rexton Sports (Musso) and Rexton Sports Khan (Musso XLV) nameplates there.

The USB-A socket has been replaced with a USB-C socket, although the old-fashioned port adapter remains.

This will be the second upgrade to the current-gen Musso, following a 2021 update that brings a more epic user interface.
