Mediatonic finally confirmed when Sonic the Hedgehog is back Autumn boys!
Matte blue is returning to the game on August 11, this Thursday, where you’ll be able to get a bunch of new skins for your little pea, as well as explore a whole new stage .
The developer teased Sonic’s return just yesterday in the signature tongue tip style, complete with Eminem reference.
Leaked last month, the hilariously titled Bean Hill Zone rewards players who collect lots of rings. If you manage to hit 1000, you can wear your peas in some awesome Sonic sneakers! Here’s everything you can get from this Sonic themed stage:
- Signboard “Bean Hill Zone” – 200 points
- 200 Kudo – 400 points
- Bonus Ring Pattern Costume – 600 points
- 400 Kudo – 800 points
- Sonic Sneakers – 1000 points
Not only are Sonic’s ridiculous costumes back, but we’re also getting Tails, Knuckles, Eggman (looks like amazing), and Super Sonic! All of these will be available in the in-game shop during the event, as well as Sonic’s iconic foot touch as an emoji. So you can mock all your online friends mercilessly.
The event takes place from August 11 to 15, so you will really Must go fast to get all the costumes.
