Some of the smallest things about Canon cameras

When it comes to mirrorless cameras, it’s common to have a handful of specs and features that grab all the headlines – things like frame rate, sensor resolution, and autofocus. And while those are important, each camera comes with a handful of small features that may not capture those top headlines but make a significant difference in your day-to-day use. . This cool video discusses some of the best small features of Canon cameras.

Coming to you from Omar Gonzalez PhotographyThis great video discusses some of the best little features of Canon EOS R5 (many of these can be found on other modern Canon mirrorless cameras). One of the features Gonzalez mentioned that I especially love is the sensor dust-proof mechanism, which simply closes the shutter whenever you turn off the camera or change lenses to prevent dust from entering the sensor. With DSLRs, there are mirrors, but mirrorless cameras place the sensor right in front, where it’s easy to focus debris. Canon isn’t the only manufacturer to do this, but it’s certainly a great feature, and in the two years I’ve been using Canon mirrorless cameras, I haven’t seen a single speck of dust. Check out the video above for Gonzalez’s full thoughts.
