Social media reacts to Diddy’s viral apology video


Social media is abuzz after Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ apology video for assaulting Cassie Ventura in leaked hotel footage in 2016.

As The Shade Room previously reported, the Grammy winner said he was “so sorry,” but most Roomies don’t buy it.

Combs apologized for his actions

CNN released a video on May 17 of CEO Bad Boy assaulting Cassie. He appeared to throw the singer to the ground, kicked her and dragged her down the hallway.

In Diddy’s apology video, he said that “It’s hard to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you have to do it.” He said he was “fuck it” And “hit rock bottom.” Sean added that his actions were “Unable to tolerate” and take “full responsibility for [his] act.” The 54-year-old man said he “hideous” by his actions.

Furthermore, Combs asserts that he “must go to therapy” And “Ask for God’s mercy.” for his actions. Combs ended the video with an apology “I don’t ask for forgiveness. I so sorry.”

Social media reacts to Diddy’s apology

Most of the roommates who commented on The Shade Room’s Instagram didn’t think Sean was being honest.

@tiahnaaaa wrote, “Guys, I thought you said her allegations weren’t true 30 million dollars ago, right?”

“Sounds like an abuser. Sorry for being caught. Goodbye.” @theimanijoy added.

@1brotherjoshua sympathizes with Diddy’s article, “I’m glad God doesn’t treat us the way we treat each other when we do wrong. There would be no souls left if He punished us for all our sins.”

@mauibigelow felt Combs should have apologized directly to Cassie, writing, “He did NOT utter a single word of apology to the person who deserved it, Cassie. A true narcissist is trying to gain sympathy and cover his tracks. He would never have apologized if the video had not been released and he never specifically apologized to the woman he assaulted.”

Roommate, @melissamw15 said, “It is not true that he apologized immediately after his arrest, when he always denied it. but there is nothing like a ‘sincere apology’.”
