Many of you may already be familiar with the Skylum company. They make the increasingly popular Luminar photo editing software. Some of you may know that Skylum was founded in Ukraine and that the majority of their team resides there.
If you haven’t lived under a rock in the past month, you’ll also know that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has seen some significant atrocities against the Ukrainian people. Skylum has a team of 130 people currently scattered across Ukraine and the rest of the world, working tirelessly from overland, bomb shelters and to neighboring countries for asylum.
What you may not know are the personal stories of Skylum team members during this incredibly tumultuous time. Skylum recently posted an update on their blog that highlights the war from the point of view of seven individuals. These stories are personal accounts of the daily lives of those responsible for bringing you world-class software while trying to avoid the horrors of war.
