Siladen video conference with Julie Ouimet and Michel Labrecque in November 2022

Receiving guests After a long hiatus due to the pandemic, Siladen Resort has rescheduled the events it has planned for the past two years. Its next event, which lasts a week Underwater Cinematography Workshop with Julie Ouimet and Michel Labrecque, promises to be an exciting opportunity for participants to hone their videography skills, learn new video techniques, and become proficient in color correction and retouching footage. The workshop is aimed at videographers of all levels — as well as videographers who want to get involved in underwater filmmaking — regardless of what camera system they use.

Ouimet and Labrecque of N2Pix are both successful explorers and photographers who have traveled to every corner of the planet. They are known for their short films and documentaries, which have been broadcast on TV and shown at film festivals across Europe and North America.

If you’d like to attend the workshop, which runs from November 19 to 26, contact Siladen’s Guest Experience Manager Ana Fonseca. You can also arrange to extend your stay on either side (or both sides) of the workshop. For filming possibilities at Bunaken, be sure to check out Pepe Arcos’ great short film, “Unleash the magical depths of Siladen. ”
