Her clip doesn’t lie.
On October 8, Shakira expressed her pain with cryptic video posted to her Instagram feed. In the clip, a man wearing shoes is seen stomping on a human’s heart as he walks through a crowded scene.
She captioned the post, “I never said anything but it hurts. I knew this was going to happen.”
E! News has reached out to Shakira’s representative for comment but has not received a response.
The “She Wolf” singer, 45, did not specify what or who hurt her, however, the post came after she split from her husband. Gerard Piqué.
In the summer, the former couple — who went public with their romance in 2011 and share a son Milan9 and Sasha7 — announced they had broken up after more than a decade together.
“We regret to confirm that we are parting,” they said in a joint statement with E! News June 4. “For the safety of our children, our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”
