Seniesa Estrada 22-0 put her WBA women’s minimum title on Saturday against Jazmin Villarino 6-1-2 in a scheduled 10th round match at Palms Casino Resort in Vegas. The first round went quite smoothly, but Estrada is definitely trying to make a difference on Villarino’s field. In the second, Estrada largely succeeds in severing the ring. The third inning saw each woman throw well, although it was possible that Villarino did more damage.

Estrada appeared to kick Villarino early in the fourth round, but the aggressive challenger continued to wage war. Both women exchanged furious punches in the very close fifth round. The sixth half resembled the first, with Villarino attacking and Estrada landing more efficiently. Things remained intense on Saturday. The eighth goal once again illustrates Estrada’s super punch, as she lands much cleaner than the determined Villarino.

Though still determined, Villarino lacked the energy in the ninth round that she showed earlier in the match. This isn’t surprising, but it does give Estrada a shot chance without much of a threat from incoming punches. The tenth and final round saw Villarino empty-handed. It’s not enough. Estrada stepped out of the ring with the WBA title still in her possession and another win on her record.
