You read that right. This is a real, legal, government-issued surveillance vehicle. It’s filled with CRT monitors and recording equipment, powered inside, and even looks like there’s some sort of periscope setup in the ceiling. The seller says this Ford is a “Rare and Authentic Old Government Spy Vehicle for the Discreet Explorer” – creepy, sure, but totally believable.
Admittedly, this is an interesting definition of “discreet explorer”. In general, when it comes to trucks, it just means “something you can park at Walmart overnight to sleep in without being suspected.” This truck is certainly built not to raise suspicion, but for very different reasons.
