Secret Service agent’s car was hit by a stolen pizza truck
Usually, when you think about the dangers that Secret Service member face it, it’s like being shot by someone trying to assassinate the president. Or get hit by a car driven by someone trying to assassinate the president. You know, mostly trying to assassinate the president. We all know the secret service does other things, but movies and TV shows really only show them doing one thing. But we want to see a movie or TV show that depicts the most recent danger to the Secret Service: stolen pizza dough trucks.
In case you lost it:
fox 5 report that someone in Washington, DC stole a truck full of pizza dough on Wednesday. But instead of simply driving away and turning their ill-gotten gains into delicious homemade pizzas (which will be 100 percent a meal), they crashed it into the private car of a Secret Service member that was parked on the street. The Secret Service member was not injured, but the pizza truck thief was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
However, the thief didn’t just crash into a pizza dough truck. They also managed to flip it to the side, spilling the pizza dough all over the place. Photos posted by DC Fire and EMS show the contents of the truck strewn across the sidewalk, never turning into the delicious pizzas that were originally intended. And the cleanup ends up being harder than you think — not for all the sticky dough, but because they had to send a hazmat team to unload the truck’s diesel fuel.
Why the thief stole the pizza dough truck, who they were, and what they planned to do with it before the crash, we still don’t know. But hopefully they will recover quickly so we don’t have to wait for an answer.
