Scrap gem: 1974 Ford F-250 Custom


The Ford F-Series was best-selling car in the United States since 1977with more sell 40 million since the first one rolled off the assembly line a 1948 model. The sixth generation of F-Series trucks was produced from 1973 to 1979, and scrapyard example of these trucks has become quite rare in recent years. The building tag indicates that it was built at San Jose Council in California, where large shopping mall currently available and for sale through the Denver sales office.

The case’s rear window has been replaced with plywood and secured with a locking truss and latches.

It appears to have been sold a few miles from its last parking spot, just south of Denver.

The camper shell comes from Flint, Michigan, home of GM’s Buick Division.

Judging from the rotted snow tires and the abundance of rodent nesting material, it appeared the truck had been sitting outdoors for decades before arriving here.
