Ryder’s right hand gives Sire his first victory
Ryder’s right hand went three laps into the first turn and took control of a maiden who declared the race on March 3 at Golden Gate Fields to give to my boss, GG Ryderhis first winner.
Making his seventh career start, Right Hand Ryder has finished fourth in all but one of his earlier races. His mile win Sunday on the all-weather track at Golden Gate Fields stopped the clock in 1:39.41.
Sergio Salguero’s dog is trained by Samuel Calvario.
The GG Ryder is priced at $2,000 at Victory Rose Thoroughbreds in Vacaville, California. He started his racing career in 2020 after a more than 7 year racing career.

Among his wins are the 2015 San Francisco Stakes (G3) and All American Stakes (G3), which he won in consecutive starts. It would be another two years before he was worthy of victory again, winning the All-American championship in 2017. He raced exclusively in California, primarily at Golden Gate Fields.
GG Ryder has 13 racing-age foals with just three starters. In addition to right-hand Ryder, The major galloped (three starts) and Eddie’s Wave (one start) are his other representatives on the track.
