Making his seventh career start, Right Hand Ryder has finished fourth in all but one of his earlier races. His mile win Sunday on the all-weather track at Golden Gate Fields stopped the clock in 1:39.41.

It would be another two years before he was worthy of victory again, winning the All-American championship in 2017. He raced exclusively in California, primarily at Golden Gate Fields.
