Bronny joins Los Angeles Lakers

As The Shade Room previously reported, the Los Angeles Lakers have officially signed Bronny James, the eldest son of NBA star LeBron James.

The June 27 announcement confirmed that they will be the first father-son pair to play at the same time in the NBA. The 19-year-old, selected 55th overall, will join his father in wearing purple and gold during the upcoming NBA season.

According to the New York Post, the James family marked the draft with a small gathering of friends at a private location in New York. Bronny James shared a video of his mother presenting him with a Lakers cap when his name was called.
