MIMOS head of design Saharudin Busri is back with another 3D rendering of what he imagines the next-generation Perodua Myvi might look like. His latest creation is an alternative to another Myvi G4 concept which he presented last April, so discuss in the comments which one you think looks more appealing.
At first glance, it is clear that the concept of white color is completely different in form from Saharudin’s earlier creation. While still sporty and modern, the new Myvi G4 concept doesn’t seem to come with a full-width light bar at the front. Instead, a thin black panel links the two headlights, which have circular daytime running lights and rounded edges.
The main grille also protrudes more than the red concept and has a hexagonal shape instead of a trapezoid. This also sees the addition of a U-shaped lower air intake that ends in horizontal LED strips.
Meanwhile, the bonnet looks to have a bit of power highlighted by the black stripes that lead into the slightly curved windshield. The sides of the car also have some interesting details, including air vents just behind the front wheel arches as well as the flat door handles, which have a different design than the red concept when the handles are still visible – the door. The rear has a “hidden” handle near the C-pillar. One thing to note is the common use of side mirrors compared to the slender units.
As for the rear, the Myvi G4 concept looks like Current G3, though has evolved with more prominent shapes. For example, the rear trunk window has a more angular look, and the same applies to the futuristic taillights. This render depicts an AV variant that comes with visible dual exhaust pipes.
