When Sarah first met Sheba, she was in a crib at the shelter. While all the dogs were active and barking, Sheba lay there with sad eyes as if her puppy heart had broken. Sarah was attracted to Sheba because she understood what it felt like to be overwhelmed and lost.
Sarah has battled anxiety and depression and feels bringing a shelter dog into her life will benefit both of them. As Sarah and Sheba headed out to the shelter’s playground, Sarah felt a connection that instantly lifted her spirits. She knew Sheba was her soul dog and adopted her that very day.
Sheba quickly became close to Sarah and became her “velcro dog”. Apparently they were made for each other! Sheba’s body showed signs that she had just given birth. The mother dog needed a fresh start and luckily got one! Her once broken heart begins to mend as she is with her new mother. It’s a beautiful sight to see!
