“I want to fight the Tank and the Tank wants to fight me,” Ryan Garcia announced on social media on Thursday. “This fight is what boxing NEED right now!” Few would argue that Garcia was wrong. After much-anticipated fights like Tyson Fury-Anthony Joshua and Errol Spence-Terence Crawford fell apart, fans were left with only one sport that didn’t seem to offer much benefit. In short, boxing needs a big fight to please its fans rather than the bureaucracy that controls it. Garcia was walking past as if he was at least trying to make that big fight happen. For a battle between him and fellow underweight Gervonta Davis could be the biggest one imaginable.
“I have accepted all the terms on my side,” Garcia continued on Thursday,
“And guided my team to get the job done exactly as it was suggested. The fans deserve this fight… our sport needs this fight. The hugely popular and undefeated Californian then went on to give voice to many fans. “We have to find this doctor,” he said. “This should have been the best couple of months in boxing. Spence/Crawford broke up, me and Tank ran into problems… that’s not what boxing is supposed to be about. ”
Garcia then goes on to bring in novelty matches that have proven quite popular over the years. “Sincerely,” Garcia posted, “celebrity boxing shouldn’t define our sport.” As far as Garcia knows, professional boxers also don’t get the treatment they deserve. “Everybody’s talking about player empowerment in the NBA and other sports leagues,” he said, “it’s time to have a REAL conversation about player empowerment in professional boxing.” .” Garcia ended his topic by bringing up the fact that he himself felt the need to face his famous and hard-hitting lightweight Davis teammate.
Garcia, who has been open about her mental health challenges, said: “I want to fight this fight for my career and to speak realistically, is my mental health. “The people in charge CAN make this happen. Don’t let this be broken. I speak on behalf of all those who love the most beautiful sport in the world.” There’s been a story about Davis and Garcia seeing each other for a while now. Although the match is said to be getting closer and closer to reality, many fans will most likely believe it as soon as they see it. As Shawn Porter recently said on his podcast, “Until you see both of them in the press conference, that’s when you know the real deal.”
