RON97 petrol price updated for the second week of April 2023 – premium petrol price unchanged, at RM3.35/liter
It’s Wednesday again, which means it’s time for a weekly fuel price update in Malaysia. The Ministry of Finance has just announced the retail price of gasoline across the country for the week of April 6-12, 2023.
No changes have been registered to the price of RON 97 petrol this week, so the premium petrol continues at its current rate of RM3.35/litre switched from last weekitself remains unchanged since late last year.
The same applies to RON 95 gasoline, keeping the ceiling level ceiling price RM2.05 per liter according to Malaysian government regulations in February 2021. Similarly, diesel fuel remains unchanged in price, in which Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remain unchanged at RM2.15/litre and Euro 5 blend B7 also continues at RM2.35/litre.
These rates will be in effect from midnight today until Wednesday, April 12, 2023, when the next fuel price update will be announced. This is the 14th edition of weekly fuel price format for this year and is the 221st since it was first introduced in early 2019.
