Rolls royce car promises that it will develop the Specter electric car “within plain sight” and here is some good proof of that in shoot spies form. Outside of the first teaser photos previously released by Rolls-Royce This year, we have not seen any other details of the electric Rolls-Royce. That changed today, when one of our spy shooters caught a test Specter both on the sidewalk and on a flat background.
The most attractive viewing angle is directly from the front. We can only spot that this Rolls appears to be wearing a version of the upcoming stacked headlight styling that has previously been followed for upcoming products. BMW car models like The next generation 7 series and refresh X7. The close-up view also gives us a look at the traditional Rolls-Royce grille and the lower front bumper design. Perhaps Rolls will come up with a more elegant solution by the time of production, but the sensor module in the center of the lower front bumper is a bit of an eyesore.
Going to the rear, we see some of the taillights light up, but it’s difficult to tell what they’ll look like in final production form. These may simply be test lights and are not representative of what actual production lights look like. As for the rest of the rear, the lower bumper is rather slim. It sticks out from the body and doesn’t look like the finished product.
One of the last interesting things to note is the angle of the tire after the driver holds the steering wheel in fully locked mode. It’s not a extreme angle of the rear wheel, but the rear wheel seems to be rotated in the opposite direction to the front wheel. This car is a coupe, logically it wouldn’t need a large amount of rear wheel for city agility, but it’s still a Rolls-Royce, so coupe or not, it’s huge.
Beyond those specifics, we can simply enjoy seeing the upcoming EV in clearer, up-closer photos than ever before. Rolls-Royce says the production car will launch in 2023, so we suspect that there will be a lot of spy footage and small details released between now and then.
