Rob Gronkowski announces his retirement from the NFL, once again
Rob Gronkowski mentioned NFL retirement.
In an Instagram post shared on June 21, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers player announced that he will be retiring from football for the second time.
“I will now return to my retirement home, away from football once again with my head held high knowing that I have given it all I have, for better or worse, every time I step out. yard,” wrote Rob. “The friendships and relationships I’ve forged will last forever, and I appreciate each of my teammates and coaches for giving everything they’ve got.”
Rob — who first retired in 2019 after playing nine seasons with the New England Patriots, according to ESPN — is retired and returns to the field in 2020 to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
In his June 21 Instagram post, the 33-year-old reflected on an essay he wrote in college about how he would one day want to play for the Buccaneers.
