The River City Girl The PS5 version has a release date. WayForward will release it on January 18, 2022. Those with a PS4 copy won’t have to buy it, however. River City Girl Again. There will be a free upgrade to the next-gen version for all current owners.
This is the official WayForward announcement. It confirmed this version of River City Girl will include some exclusive features. Specifically, it will support DualSense 5 in some way. (This could mean haptic or audible feedback coming from the controller.) It also refers to PS5 Activity. This is a system feature that allows you to jump to a specific part of the game without actually playing to reach that part.

This goes first River City Girls 2 launch. The sequel is set to come PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and PC in 2022. It will add new playable characters.
River City Girl is available for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One and PC, and the PS5 version will arrive on January 18, 2022.
