Rich Homie Quan‘s girlfriend has broken her silence about the moment that left her “hurt”. Amber Williams released the first statement about the passing of her sons’ father on September 7. Quan passed away on Thursday, September 5, at his home. He was 34 years old.

Rich Homie Quan’s girlfriend says she’s ‘heartbroken’
Amber began her statement by saying that the pain of Quan’s death was “unbearable.” She then expressed gratitude for the outpouring of love for the Atlanta rapper and those who had reached out to her.
“I am traumatized by a moment that will forever be in my mind,” Amber wrote on Instagram Stories.
Hours after his family confirmed his death on September 5, TMZ released a recording of Williams’ 911 call. Her voice breaks down several times as she explains how long the Atlanta rapper had been unconscious and the state in which she found him.
In the 911 recording, Amber explains to the dispatcher that Quan fell asleep on the couch Wednesday night. The next morning, she covered him with a blanket as she headed out the door to take him to school. However, when she returned, she noticed that the boy was not moving. Upon further inspection, Williams discovered that the boy had no pulse, was not breathing, and had foam coming from his mouth.
The Fulton County Morgue has yet to confirm his cause of death, but those close to the rapper, including rapper Boosie, have speculated that he may have overdosed.

Additionally, Amber made it clear that she has “nothing to prove” about her 15-year relationship with Rich Homie Quan. Williams and the ‘Lifestyle’ artist co-parent two sons, 10. Royal Lamar and 3 years old Lavor LeonisHe has two more children, Devin and Khosen, from previous relationships.
“I have nothing to prove because my love for my significant other has ALWAYS been shown, I have nothing to hide. Please respect me and my family at this time. Our house is no longer a home. I am completely heartbroken. It has been 15 years. I will never be the same again. This is an absolute nightmare. We can never let go, but you didn’t have to leave me like this,” she wrote on IG Stories.
It appears Rich Homie Quan’s girlfriend is indirectly referring to the photos and videos that have been circulating of him looking intimate with other women. At least four women, including rapper Erica Banks, have shared that type of content since RHQ’s death.

Internet users pulled Banks to delete a post that showed Quan kissing her on the cheek and lying on her lap. In the caption, she claimed that all he wanted was to “find happiness again.” “I am so glad we were able to enjoy some peaceful and memorable moments while you were here,” she wrote. Erica has yet to address the backlash.
In addition to Rich Homie Quan’s girlfriend, his father has also broken his silence about the death. In an initial statement on Friday (September 6), he said he was in unbearable pain. Then, on Saturday (September 7), he shared the plans he and Quan had made last week to spend quality time together that have since gone up in smoke.
