Erika Jayne has been dropped from her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s embezzlement lawsuit.
“As a rule, plaintiffs’ claims against defendants EJ Global LLC and Erika Girardi are dismissed without prejudice and without charge,” court documents obtained by ET said.
The documents will be completed by the plaintiff, Edelson PC, in California. The lawsuit accuses the former couple of embezzling payments to families who lost loved ones in the 2018 Lion Air flight 610 crash.
Erika’s attorney Evan Borges said in a statement: “While Edelson retains the right to reapply in California, it is extremely important to dismiss Erika from the federal bankruptcy lawsuit of Girardi Keese and Tom Girardi.

“For example, the recent three-day evidence hearing in the Boeing case found that Erika had NO role in what GK and Edelson discussed, did and did not do, whether between each other or with customers. In fact, I announced that Erika’s name didn’t even appear in the hearing,” he said.
The statement continued, “I would like to see Edelson and everyone else have a higher path forward and not bring charges against Erika without proof. Erika Jayne has always denied being involved in Tom’s alleged fraud.
