The zoom range is versatile, making it appealing to landscape photographers who want to capture as much of the scene in the frame as possible, as well as street photographers who prefer to shoot a bit wide up close. micro 35mm. When I switched to Canon EOS R5, RF 14-35mm f/4 L IS USM the lens wasn’t available at the time, and I had to do with an adapter and an old, non-ideal EF L series lens. So I’m always curious about the performance of similar lenses against other ecosystems as they hit the market. And this Sony lens looks like a beauty.

One of the features I really like is the aperture ring on the lens, which you can lock or unlock without having to manipulate the buttons or settings on the camera body. He also compared it to Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 Di III RXD lens. This is particularly interesting to me because, along with Sigma, I think Tamron is definitely up there with the best third-party lenses.
