At just $199, the 35mm f/2.8 lens is remarkably affordable, but it still offers plenty of versatility in a fairly portable 7.4 oz (210 g) package. Most notable is its 1:2 macro capability, but beyond that, it comes with a Low Dispersion element to reduce chromatic aberrations and increase clarity, and a molded glass aspherical element to reduce distortion. and increased sharpness, Wide-band Anti-reflection to reduce flare and ghosting and deeper contrast, moisture-resistant texture and rounded seven-blade diaphragm for smoother bokeh.
