Rent a Yamaha Star Bolt from EagleRider
One of the best ways to explore a new area is from the seat of a motorbike. However, it’s not always possible to ride a personal bike from home to whatever remote location you’re traveling to, especially if you have a tight schedule. That’s the predicament I ran into recently when I flew from my home in Tennessee to Las Vegas. The solution was to rent a Yamaha Star Bolt from EagleRider.
The horseman The editorial team traveled to Las Vegas in February to attend AIMExpo, the annual power sports conference. We had a busy and exciting day at the show, meeting many industry insiders and seeing some new products. By the end of the week, though, we were all ready to get out of town for a day.

The rest of the group all live close enough to ride their personal motorbikes to the show. I wouldn’t have enough time to make the journey from Tennessee on my personal trip, so I decided to rent a motorbike in Vegas from EagleRider.
EagleRider has over 200 locations around the world, offers a wide variety of motorbikes for rent, and even offers guided tours. Before my trip, I spent some time reviewing motorbikes for rent in Las Vegas as not all brands and models are available in all locations. They have bikes from Harley-Davidson, Indian, BMW, Yamaha and Honda. I picked up a Yamaha Bolt cruiser, a model I had never ridden before but was excited to try. Bolt is available for $112 per day.
EagleRider also has a monthly subscription called Club EagleRider, which allows you to earn credits towards discounted tours and rentals. The club starts at $29 a month and has a range of plans available with different benefits. I only rent a car for the day, but if I’m traveling and need to ride more often, Club EagleRider will be a convenient way to save some rental money.

On the morning of the ride, our EIC Greg and I arrived at EagleRider a few minutes before they opened. There was a line at the front desk. Place was very clean and there was plenty of gear and clothes to browse while we waited. One of the desk staff asked us to check in online to speed up the process a bit and we did.
When it was my turn to stand in front of the line, the waiters at the front desk were very friendly. They didn’t take up too much of our chat time, but you could tell they were enthusiastic about meeting new riders and suggesting local destinations to visit. They also advised us to pay $12.95 per day for roadside assistance, as towing fees can be quite expensive.

After checking in, which included showing my ID and insurance card and signing some paperwork, I was directed to the back where my motorbike was stowed along with the others that had been booked in day.
The flight attendant near the bikes asked me if I wanted him to go over the Bolt with me before I took off, and I happily accepted. He went over the basics and reminded me to refill the tank at the gas station next door when I brought it back. After the briefing, I was ready to go.
Greg and I leisurely rode back to the hotel, where we met others and spent the day cycling around Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Hoover Dam, and Valley of Fire State Park.
Our trip was spectacular. I haven’t traveled much west of Mississippi, so I marveled all day at all the dramatic landscapes and sights. And that’s an experience I wouldn’t have had if I hadn’t rented a motorbike from EagleRider. Returning the Bolt the next day is quick and easy.
I could definitely find myself renting from EagleRider next time I go to a new place without a bike or if I want to try something different from what’s in my garage. And with EagleRider’s large number of locations and models, I’m sure I’ll stand a chance.
