To say Reggie has inspired thousands of people is an understatement. He has invigorated Nintendo and brought many new eyes and faces to the game, as new fans pick up the controller or developers, publishers, QA testers, etc. industry for his work. Many of us wouldn’t love Nintendo games as much as we do without his enthusiasm. He also has a pretty good memes legacy behind him, and we were wondering if the book would include any of these.
Well, we have some good news that could be for you! Before the book was released, Reggienator – also self-narrated audiobook – revealed that he and The Game Awards and Summer Game Fest host Geoff Keighley got together for a chat, which will be included in the audiobook as bonus content.
This chat will reveal some industry secrets and information about the couple’s friendship over the years as they exchange industry stories. In the introduction that Reggie shared in the Tweet above, he warmly introduces Geoff as the two begin a friendly chat before the meme topic appears very briefly at the end of the clip.
Oh, come on, you tease! How can you hang carrots in front of us like that? Well, we think that’s the marketing for you. We have to know which memes the couple will discuss because there are so many iconic memes. We’re sure there’s a lot of story to go with these and we only have until May 3 to find out – or June 9 for us in the UK.
