Refer businesses to Capital One and earn up to $1,500 per referral

As a small business owner and Capital One cardholder, I’m always looking for ways to maximize the rewards I earn when I spend.

Many small business owners don’t realize the vast number of expenses that can be paid with a business card — and that using the card for those expenses allows business owners to earn rewards like cash or even airline miles. .

This is especially true of all the recurring expenses that a typical small business has to deal with every month (think: utility bills and uniform rentals, etc.).

Now, thanks to its referral program, you can earn more than usual with your Capital One business card.

If you are not familiar, Capital One offers a referral program for small business owners who have a Capital One business card and want to refer other business owners to do the same.

Currently, Capital One is offering some small business owners increased referral incentives. So, for example, customers who previously received a $200 per referral bonus can now qualify for an exclusive higher value referral bonus of up to $1,500 per referral introduction.

You can receive bonuses for up to five referrals per year. Those who qualify for the $1,500 per referral bonus can earn up to a $7,500 annual referral bonus with this increased amount.

• Sign in to your Capital One account.
• If using a desktop computer, open your account page and click “Account Services” to find the “About Business” landing page (located under “Benefits and Rewards”) to access the link Your personalized introduction. If on mobile, log in to your Capital One account, then scroll down and select the “Refer Business” option.
• From there, click “Refer Business” to get a personal link to share with your network.
• Share this link with your network and ask them to sign up using that specific link.
• Once they’re approved to use your link, you’ll receive a bonus of up to $1,500 — and they’ll start earning unlimited rewards for their business spending.
• You can earn up to $7,500 per year with up to five referrals.

My small business uses it Capital One Venture X Business cards for almost any business expense, from office supplies and paper products to food. This means earn 2 miles per dollar spent on every transaction.

I use those miles to reward my employees with travel and to help pay for my family vacations and getaways to boutique hotels. They even helped me fly business class occasionally by using a number Capital One’s airline transfer partner.

I’ve also redeemed Capital One miles to send employees to Hawaii as well as to their children’s sporting events around the country, which is a great way to show appreciation and say thank you for a job well done.
