Recent winners will shine at FT July HORA Sale


For those shopping at Fasig-Tipton’s select racehorse sale in July on July 10, finding a new addition with recent stakes won’t be a problem.

hip 470, Power in numbers is a 3 year old child girvin pony, who will enter the sales round in top form after winning the last three times. Most recently, he won the Tale of the Cat Stakes on June 25 at Monmouth Park under the tutelage of Chad Brown.

“He’s only 3 years old, which I think is very compelling because you don’t know how much he can improve and he’s done nothing but improve in all his races,” said Liz Crow of ELiTE Sales, who consigned the foal, said .

“I think he really reminds me possibility of voting , whom we sold at this sale (in 2022). … He went on to win several major races in Saudi Arabia and nearly $450,000 for his new connections in Saudi Arabia.”

Crow believes this year’s racing options for Power in Numbers are limitless as he could go abroad or be assigned to races like the $500,000 West Virginia Derby (G3) and the Oklahoma Derby. (G3) worth $400,000.

Another recent winner in ELiTE’s shipment is High Front (Heb 414). The gelding 4 years old by summer front posted his pre-sale straight wins with his Sprint Sprint Turf Dark Star Stock most recently on June 21st. He is trained by Jonathan Thomas.

“When you have these racehorse sales, it is always important that you bring the horse in for sale,” says Crow. “And that always gives the buyer confidence. …He’s really in top form, running the best numbers of his career.”

She said that the castrated horse “looks like a horse you can act on right away.” Crow mentioned Troy Stake (G3T) at Racecourse Saratoga and Kentucky Downs Turf Sprint Stakes (G2T) at Kentucky Downs as the upcoming races might suit him.

“He comes from a good warehouse. The sky is the limit for him. You can really dream if he can become the top sprinter on the pitch,” she said.

Taylor Made Sales also brings a pair of recent winners in the sale including visitor Hip 455, a 3-year-old pony showing his versatility thanks to his mare Uncle Mo .

Movisitor wins Crowd Pleaser Stakes at Parx Racing

He has run three times in the classified holdings, but his experience on different surfaces and the June 26 victory in the Crowd Satisfaction Stake at The Parx . Race should attract attention.

Glenall had 19 recorded starts and won the last time in the Wasted Tears Stakes on June 24 at Lonely Star Park.

Taylor says she’s healthy, in good form and has talent, which makes her special.

Another recent stake winner on offer is malaymoo (Hip 444), a stout 3-year-old horse of the 2007 English Channel pony champion and consigned by Gainesway. Her final start yielded a win on June 2 at Penn Oaks at Penn National Racecourse.

Coached by Jack Sisterson, Malleymoo entered a graded pair of bets to kick off the year—Sweetest Hymn Stakes (G3T) and Herecomesthebride Bets (G3T)—before taking a step back. to regain his winning form.
