Players make the short trip from Augusta, Georgia, to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for this week’s RBC 2024 Heritage. In total, 69 golfers will tee it up at Harbor Town Golf Links over the first two days as another signature event on the PGA Tour calendar takes place.

Unlike the Genesis Invitational or Arnold Palmer Invitational, the RBC Heritage will not have a 36-hole cut, meaning the entire field will be played over the weekend. That was music to the ears of those who missed the weekend’s action at the Masters, including the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman.

Spieth, the 2022 champion, looks to get his season started after a disappointing performance at Augusta National. He’s no stranger to returning to the RBC Heritage; He missed the cut in his first major championship of the year with a win a week later at Hilton Head.

If Spieth wants to get back to the winner’s circle, he’ll have to get past Scottie Scheffler. The world No. 1 is still competing and aims to win his fourth trophy in the last five tournaments. Donning just his second green jacket, Scheffler has widened the gap between him and the rest of the world and shows no signs of slowing down.

Tommy Fleetwood, Collin Morikawa Xander Schauffele, Ludvig Åberg, Will Zalatoris and Max Homa are among those who performed well at the Masters and they hope it leads to more of the same. Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay and defending champion Matt Fitzpatrick will be looking for some form. In total, 26 of the top 30 players in the Official World Golf Ranking will compete.
