You may have heard that Pokémon Scarlet and Violet was released in… a little of a state. While that can be a huge disappointment for most people who spend close to $100 on the game, it is also a great source of entertainment on social media, where people have discovered discovered that the new co-op multiplayer feature is very real error.
We’re not exactly sure what causes these crashes, but it looks like the integration of other players in the cutscenes and in motion makes for some real body horror. quite scary. There are giant, elongated human bodies, terrible hand-twisting abilities, and very wrong faces.

We even found a glitch ourselves. Turns out you can place the selfie camera against the wall to make your character’s facial features look like that. pop music out, create these nightmare faces:
Even outside of multiplayer, there’s the potential for deeply hilarious/upsetting things, because it seems like Pokémon can only, er, slide into the abyss:
And a lot of players find that it’s very easy for them to go out of their way:
We can’t decide if we want to patch these glitches ASAP or figure out how to make them happen in our game so we can join in the fun.
