PSO2 New Genesis FPS will increase with Nvidia DLSS
While there are no updates on PSO2 New Genesis frame rate drops, Sega and Nvidia announced during CES 2022 that DLSS support is coming to boost its FPS. The option will arrive on February 9, 2022. However, only those with PCs with a GeForce RTX card will be able to take advantage of it.
To help show how it will affect gameplay, there’s a new video. It shows a side-by-side comparison of how DLSS support has changed PSO2 New Genesis FPS. Actions such as attack, jump, jet around and run are displayed. Without support, PSO2 New Genesis Frame rates tend to fluctuate between 38-45. With it, it exceeds 60 FPS.

This is one of many updates on the way to the game. The roadmap in early 2022 also revealed additions such as the spring event, new areas, and the Big Boss Suppression Emergency Quest. However, it Summoner class was finally delayed.
