Proton X50 SST price higher up to RM6.5k – Standard RM84k, Exec RM90k, Prem RM99k, Flagship RM110k
Updated price of Proton X50 The range with SST has finally been revealed, more than two weeks after the tax holiday ended on June 30. The price has now increased to RM6,500 from before.
The X50 Standard is currently priced at RM83,800 with SST, up RM4,600 or 5.8% from its previous price of RM79,200. This also means that the base variant is no longer below the RM80k barrier. Next up, the X50 Executive is priced at RM89,800 with SST, up RM5,000 or 5.9% from the previous RM84,800.
Dangerously close to the RM100k mark is the X50 Premium, currently on sale for RM98,800 plus SST, up RM5,600 or 6.0% from the RM93,200 launch price. Meanwhile, the Flagship X50 is currently priced at RM109,800 with SST, up RM6,500 or 6.3% from its original price of RM103,300.
As a summary, Proton X50 has been launched during the duty free period, so it has never been priced at SST before. This could be seen as a price hike for the popular SUV, although it’s largely out of Proton’s control and it coincides with other brands having to do the same.
The Toyota Corolla Cross have it too price soars up to RM5.4k – now RM128k to RM140k – while All-new Honda HR-V just recently Launched at a higher price between RM115k and RM141k.
