Proton sponsors 10 vehicles for the 2022 SUKIPT Higher Education Game – Perdana, X70, Saga in the team
Proton presented 10 different model units to the Ministry of Higher Education to support 2022 Sukan Institusi Pendidikan Tinggi (Higher Education Game), the automaker said in a statement. The biennial sporting event for higher education institutions is organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and will be held this year from August 12 to 21.
The vehicles presented to the Set consisted of eight pieces of Proton Perdanaa Proton X70 and a Proton Sagaand was received by Deputy Secretary General for Policy Datuk Megat Sany Megat Ahmad Supian and Deputy Secretary for Sports of the Ministry of Higher Education Datuk Pekan Ramli.
“The company is proud to be able to play an important role in this important sporting event for higher education students and we hope our participation will assist in the smooth running of the company.” SUKIPT 2022,” said Proton General Manager Edar Wan Ahmad Fadzli Bin Wan Mustafa.
This also marks the second time the carmaker has sponsored the games, as they were also involved in sponsoring the 2012 version of the game, the general manager added.
In addition to the contribution to SUKIPT 2022, Proton also contributed cash and equipment to SMK and SK Proton City in June of this year, while a cash contribution was given to Sekolah Menengah Sains Sultan Mahmud (SESMA) in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu last month in support of the school’s excellent academic programs.
