As Rivian continues to ramp up production, it confirmed last week that waiting time on some versions of the R1T . electric pickup down to just 14 days in some cases. According to the company and its CEO, that’s not a reason to lower the price, but there are lower-priced models on the way.

And Ford has announced its most important consideration for hydrogen fuel cell technology for 15 years or more. With a three-year pilot project in the UK, Ford is considering E-Transit trucks run on fuel cells used as a replacement for the company’s heaviest commercial trucks—vehicles that still require a diesel engine today.
