As Rivian continues to ramp up production, it confirmed last week that waiting time on some versions of the R1T . electric pickup down to just 14 days in some cases. According to the company and its CEO, that’s not a reason to lower the price, but there are lower-priced models on the way.
Honda reveals a mainstream Compact electric SUV for Europe—one will go up against the Hyundai Kona Electric and the others. As for the well-received Honda E, there are no plans to bring it to the US
And Ford has announced its most important consideration for hydrogen fuel cell technology for 15 years or more. With a three-year pilot project in the UK, Ford is considering E-Transit trucks run on fuel cells used as a replacement for the company’s heaviest commercial trucks—vehicles that still require a diesel engine today.
