Price and specifications of Toyota LandCruiser Prado 2025: Price increases across the board


New one 2025 Toyota LandCruiser Prado (250 Series) will be up to $12,500 more expensive than the car it replaces when it goes on sale in late 2024.

Toyota Australia has today confirmed local pricing for the model. Prado series 250 will start from $72,500 before on-road costs in base GX form – a $9670 increase over the outgoing 150 Series.

This is the smallest price increase across the board. Prado GXL is available from $79,990 before on-roads (+10,460 USD), Prado VX starts from $87,400 before on-roads (+10,552 USD) and the top Kakadu starts at $99,990 before on-roads (+$12,522).

The range has also been expanded with the return of the Prado Altitude, which sits between the VX and Kakadu by one $92,700 before on-roads price label.

All variants of the Toyota LandCruiser Prado are equipped with the same engine 2.8-liter, four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine as before, remains the same 150kW and 500Nm output but gets 48-volt mild hybrid support.

The Prado’s turbo-diesel engine is mated to a new eight-speed torque converter automatic transmission (up two ratios over the old model), mated to a low-range gearbox and sending power to all four corners through a full-time four-wheel drive system. drive system.

The order books for the new LandCruiser Prado are not yet open.

Power transmission system

On paper, the new Prado’s engine looks very similar to the old model.

Service and warranty

Toyota has confirmed that the LandCruiser Prado 2025 will have a 5-year, unlimited km warranty as standard.

Owners can get a seven-year engine and transmission warranty, as long as it is serviced on time at a Toyota dealer.

It will also offer capped-price servicing for the first five visits within a 12-month or 20,000km period (whichever comes first), although pricing is yet to be announced.
