Bradley Cooper joins Pearl Jam on stage in a real-life ‘Star is Born’ moment
Bradley Cooper left behind Leonard Bernstein this weekend, traded Conductor for another iconic Cooper character: Jackson Maine. The actor and eternal awards hopeful took the stage at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival on Saturday, where he and Disney cover band Pearl Jam took the stage to perform two songs. The star turn (is born) comes after a weekend of seeing Cooper at events, including a slow dance with Gigi Hadid as Stevie Nicks sings on stage and gives cooking demonstrations with NBA greats Steph curry. (Hmm, maybe that means he’s watching again On firealso?)
Bradley Cooper’s BottleRock weekend kicked off on Friday, We reported, when social media users spotted him “dancing throughout” his headlining performance that night, Stevie Nicks. This was the pair’s second NorCal outing in about a month, as a couple—along with a little-known duo called Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce—visited the coastal community of Carmel for an April couples getaway.
The “music/food/wine/beer” festival continues for sobriety advocates on Saturday with a scheduled onstage appearance at the event’s food stage. The SF Chronicles reports that the trio of Cooper, Golden State point guard Warrior Curry and World Central Kitchen’s José Andrés drew the biggest crowd the festival’s food-centric stage has ever seen, with a 45-minute performance that included tossing Philly cheesesteaks into the crowd, a dunk contest between Curry and Cooper ( Curry missed three shots) and an “improvised duet” of A star is born signature song “Shallow” between Andrés and Cooper.
Will that quick fire return to rock star life when Cooper’s Maine whistles? Maybe that’s why, in a surprise appearance, Cooper joined Saturday night hosts Pearl Jam to perform “Maybe It’s Time,” another song from the 2018 film .
