Of course, you should strive to perfect everything in-camera, and if you find yourself doing this too often, you should take some time to perfect your technique. Otherwise, mistakes will happen, and sometimes, we don’t have the conditions to go back to a position that reproduces the conditions that were there. Thankfully, modern camera sensors and post-processing software allow us to get a relatively high latitude, and with that latitude we were able to save a lot of photos.
